How to apply cluster lashes at home: a step-by-step guide for beginners

Salon lash extensions look beautiful, but they take time and regular appointments. Cluster lashes give you a similar full look at home, in a few minutes, and you decide when they come off. Here is how to apply them, even if you have never done it before.
What you need
Every Liore Lash cluster set already contains everything:
- the clusters, in the style of the set (natural, wispy or glam);
- the 2-in-1 Bond & Seal;
- the remover;
- tweezers for placing the clusters.

Not sure which look suits you? A natural set such as Clean Girl is a good first choice; Baby Wink and Cloud Kiss give a little more volume.

Before you start
- Clean, dry lashes. Remove mascara and any oily make-up from your lashes, then let them dry completely. Oil is the most common reason clusters do not hold.
- Patch test. If this is your first time, do a patch test before you apply the set.
- Plan the map. Lay the clusters out in the order you will use them: shorter ones for the inner corner, longer ones towards the outer corner.
Step by step

- Apply Bond. Put a thin layer of Bond on your natural lashes. Less is more: too much makes the lashes sticky and heavy.
- Let it get tacky. Wait a few seconds until the Bond feels slightly sticky, not wet.
- Place the first cluster. Take a cluster with the tweezers and place it under your natural lashes, about 1–2 mm from the lid. Never place it on the skin or the waterline.
- Work from the outside in. Start at the outer corner and work towards the inner corner, leaving a small gap between clusters for a natural look.
- Press. Gently press your natural lashes and the clusters together with the closed tweezers so they bond.
- Seal. Apply a thin layer of Seal to finish and fix the result.
That is all: with a little practice it takes just a few minutes per eye.
Common beginner mistakes
- Too much Bond. The clusters slide and clump. A thin layer is enough.
- Too close to the lid. It feels uncomfortable. Keep 1–2 mm of distance.
- Oily lashes. Make-up remover and cream leave a film that weakens the hold.
- Rushing the tacky stage. If the Bond is still wet, the cluster does not stay in place.
How long do cluster lashes last?
With the Bond & Seal from the set, the clusters last up to 7 days. They are water-resistant, so you can shower and do sport as usual. Contact lenses are fine too: you put them in and take them out every day as normal, just make sure no Bond & Seal or remover gets into your eyes.
Taking them off
Always remove the clusters with the remover from the set, never by pulling. It has a gentle, oily texture and releases the clusters without pulling on your own lashes. With careful removal and cleaning, the clusters can usually be worn up to 3 times. We explain removal and care in detail in our next article.
Storing the Bond & Seal

Once opened, the Bond & Seal can be used for 4–6 weeks. Wipe the tip after each use, close the bottle tightly and store it upright in a cool, dry place.

If you notice redness or irritation, remove the clusters with the remover and stop using them. Avoid direct contact of Bond & Seal and remover with the eyes; if anything gets into an eye, rinse with water.
